Rice Pudding/1h29desserts, grains, american 1 1/2 quart milk 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 3/4 cup sugar 1 each egg-well beaten 2 tablespoon butter; melted Place the milk, salt, & rice in a saucepan. Bring to a slow boil & cook uncovered over low heat for 20 mins. Season w/ nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon, & sugar. Add the egg & butter & mix well. Pour into a baking dish and brown lightly under the broiler, watching carefully, for one minute. Allow to cool and chill thoroughly before serving.
