Superb Submarine Sandwichessandwiches, american 2 1-lb loaves french bread 3 oz package cream cheese; soft 2/3 cup mayonnaise 2 tablespoon chopped chives 8 slice cooked ham 8 slice salami 8 slice pickle and pimiento loaf 8 slice summer sausage 4 cup torn romaine or iceberg 1 lettuce 1 medium tomato, chopped and drained 1/3 cup sliced pimiento-stuffed oliv 2 tablespoon commercial italian 1 salad dressing Cut bread loaves into quarters crosswise; split each quarter horizontally. Set bread aside.Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, and chives; stir well. Spread about 1 tablespoon mayonnaise mixture on inside cut surface of each piece of bread. Fold the meat slices in half; arrange 1 folded slice of each type of meat on bread bottoms; set aside.Combine lettuce, tomato, olives, and Italian dressing; toss gently. Spoon salad mixture over meat slices; cover with bread tops. Serve immediately.
