Quicker Baked Potato

Try this method for speeding up the potato baking process (for a better texture than those that you microwave). Pre-heat the oven to 400. Place the potato in boiling water for 10 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes. This will cut the cooking time in half.

 

Stout Marinated Ribs With Honey Glaze

----RIBS----
3 cup guinness stout
1 onion, large; sliced
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sugar, brown
1/4 cup sesame oil
3 tablespoon garlic; minced
4 lb beef short ribs; cut crosswi
----GLAZE----
1 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoon parsley, fresh; chopped
1 tablespoon garlic; minced
1 1/2 teaspoon pepper, black

FOR RIBS: Whisk first 6 ingredients in large bowl to blend. Place ribs in glass baking dish. Pour marinade over. Cover and refrigerate overnight. FOR GLAZE: Whisk all ingredients in medium bowl to blend. Prepare barbecue (medium heat). Remove ribs from marinade and place on grill. Grill until cooked through, turning occasionally, about 10 minutes. Brush with glaze and cook 1 minute per side. Serve with remainig glaze. Bon Appetit, August 1992
