Quicker Baked Potato

Try this method for speeding up the potato baking process (for a better texture than those that you microwave). Pre-heat the oven to 400. Place the potato in boiling water for 10 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes. This will cut the cooking time in half.

 

Banana Oatmeal Muffins

1/4 cup butter or margarine softened
3/4 cup brown suger packed
1 egg beaten
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon allspice
2 medium bananas chopped

1. Cream together butter and brown suger. Mix in egg and buttermilk. 2. Mix together oats, flour, baking powder, salt and allspice. Add to creamed mixture. 3. Stir in Bananas. 4. Spoon into greased or paper lined muffin pan, filling almost full. 5. Bake at 400 to 425 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
