Quicker Baked Potato

Try this method for speeding up the potato baking process (for a better texture than those that you microwave). Pre-heat the oven to 400. Place the potato in boiling water for 10 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes. This will cut the cooking time in half.

 

Wassail Cider

5 quart apple cider
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/4 can (6 oz) frozen lemon juice
1 concentrate
1 1/4 can (6 oz) frozen orange juice
1 concentrate
7 1/2 whole cloves and allspice
1 1/4 tablespoon ground nutmeg
30 cinnamon sticks

Put cider, sugar and fruit juices (undiluted) in large pot. Tie cloves and allspice in cheesecloth. Add to cider with nutmeg. Cover and simmer for 30 min. Remove spice bag.
