Quicker Baked Potato

Try this method for speeding up the potato baking process (for a better texture than those that you microwave). Pre-heat the oven to 400. Place the potato in boiling water for 10 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes. This will cut the cooking time in half.

 

Wilson Family Sauce For English Plum Pudding

2 cup light brown sugar
3 to 4 tb. cornstarch
3 cup ; water
2 tablespoon butter
2 teaspoon vanilla or
2 teaspoon favorite flavoring*
1 lemon; juice of
1 cup marshmallows

*Brandy, rum or whiskey, for instance. Combine brown sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Add the water and butter. Stir over medium heat until the mixture boils, then cook until mixture clarifies and thickens slightly, about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the flavoring, lemon juice and marshmallows. Serve hot over plum pudding.
