Quicker Baked Potato

Try this method for speeding up the potato baking process (for a better texture than those that you microwave). Pre-heat the oven to 400. Place the potato in boiling water for 10 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes. This will cut the cooking time in half.

 

Eileen's Salmon Steaks


fish, canadian

1/4 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon orange rind
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon rind
1/4 cup lime juice
1 teaspoon lime rind
1 small onion grated
1 teaspoon honey
1/4 cup oil,vegetable
1 dash tobasco sauce
1 pinch pepper
8 salmon steaks,1

Mix all of the above ingredients together except for the Salmon.In a glass baking dish arrange the Salmon steaks and pour the above marinade over the Salmon.Place in fridge for one hour.After one hour,turn the Salmon steaks over and marinate for one more hour in fridge.Allow the glass tray to come to room temperature and broil in oven with the marinade.Turn over after they are done and broil the other side.Serve some of the marinade on the Salmon as a garnish.If you have never loved fish,this will convert you. Remove the skin and bones before serving. NOTE:Use a glass dish to marinate,as metal dishes or pans may give an off taste.
