Quicker Baked Potato

Try this method for speeding up the potato baking process (for a better texture than those that you microwave). Pre-heat the oven to 400. Place the potato in boiling water for 10 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes. This will cut the cooking time in half.


Best Holiday Rum Cake Ever

2 quart rum
1 cup butter
1 teaspoon sugar
2 single eggs (large)
1 cup dried fruit
1 teaspoon soda
2 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup nuts
1 tablespoon baking powder

Before you start, sample the rum to check for quality. Good, isn't it? Now go ahead. Select a large mixing bowl, measuring cup, etc. Check the rum again. It must be just right. To be sure the rum is of the highest quality, pour one level cup of rum into a glass and drink it as fast as you can. With an electric mixer beat 1 cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.
