Quicker Baked Potato

Try this method for speeding up the potato baking process (for a better texture than those that you microwave). Pre-heat the oven to 400. Place the potato in boiling water for 10 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes. This will cut the cooking time in half.


Blackberry Pie


3 cup blackberries
1 lemon
2 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon butter
1 crushed biscuits or:
1 cake crumbs

1. Add the blackberries and the juice of the lemon to a pot with 1 cup of water. Cook thoroughly, sugaring to taste. 2. When cold put into a pie dish and sprinkle with sugar and flour and add the butter. 3. Cover with the crushed biscuits and cook in a moderate to hot oven for 30 minutes.
