Quicker Baked Potato

Try this method for speeding up the potato baking process (for a better texture than those that you microwave). Pre-heat the oven to 400. Place the potato in boiling water for 10 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes. This will cut the cooking time in half.

 

French Apple Dessert

----FRUIT BASE----
6 cup thinly sliced pared tart
1 apples
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 cup skim milk
2 tablespoon margerine, softened
3 egg whites or 1/2 cup
1 cholesterol-free egg
1 product
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup bisquick reduced fat
1 baking mix
----STREUSEL----
1 cup bisquick reduced fat baking
1 mix
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoon firm margerine

1. Heat oven to 350F. Grease 13x9x2" baking dish. Prepare Streusel; reserve. Spread apples in dish. 2. Beat remaining ingredients in blender on high speed 15 seconds; with hand beater or wire whisk beat for 1 minute or until smooth. Pour over applies. Sprinkle with streusel. 3. Bake about 55 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool at least 10 minutes. 12-15 servings.
