Quicker Baked Potato

Try this method for speeding up the potato baking process (for a better texture than those that you microwave). Pre-heat the oven to 400. Place the potato in boiling water for 10 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes. This will cut the cooking time in half.

 

Mr. Food's Cranberry Pear Loaf

15 1/2 oz cranberry bread mix
1 cup water
2 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 egg
16 oz pears drained and finely chopped
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

======================================================= ============== ==== == Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients and stir until the dry ingredients are moistened. Pour the batter into a 9 x 5 loaf pan that has been coated with the nonstick baking spray and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove the loaf from the oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool completely. Use immediately or keep tightly wrapped until ready to use.
