Quicker Baked Potato

Try this method for speeding up the potato baking process (for a better texture than those that you microwave). Pre-heat the oven to 400. Place the potato in boiling water for 10 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes. This will cut the cooking time in half.

 

Luscious Lemon Ice Cream

1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1 cup milk
2 cup cream
1/2 tablespoon grated lemon rind
1/4 cup lemon juice

Blend sugar and flour in double boiler. Slowly stir in milk. Stirring, cook until thickened. Cool. Add cream and chill. Add grated lemon rind and lemon juice. Stir freeze. Makes about 1 quart.
