Dumplings #2breads, penndutch 2 cup flour 1 teaspoon salt 4 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 each egg 3 tablespoon butter, melted 1 single milk Sift together the dry ingredients. Add well-beaten egg, the melted butter, and enough milk to make fairly moist, stiff batter. Drop by spoonfuls into boiling liquid. Cover very closely and cook for 18 minutes.
