Kapusniak Ze Swiezej Kapustysoups/stews, poland, ham/pork 3/4 lb pork, lean; cut into small pieces 1 tablespoon butter, unsalted 1 can beef broth (10 1/2 oz) 1 can soup, tomato 2 soup can of water 4 cup cabbage; shredded 1/2 cup onion; chopped 2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1 bay leaf 1 tablespoon sherry 1 sour cream Brown pork in butter. Add remaining ingredients except sour cream. Cover; cook over low heat--30 min.; stir often. Serve with spoonsfull of sour cream. A Balkan stew-soup to make a supper.
