Quicker Baked Potato

Try this method for speeding up the potato baking process (for a better texture than those that you microwave). Pre-heat the oven to 400. Place the potato in boiling water for 10 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes. This will cut the cooking time in half.

 

Praline Ham

1/3 cup chopped pecans
2 (1/2-inch-thick) ham slices
1 (about 2 1/2 pounds)
1/2 cup maple syrup
3 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoon butter or margarine

Bake ham slices in a shallow pan at 325=B0 for 10 minutes. Bring maple syrup, sugar, and butter to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring often. Stir in pecans, and spoon over ham.
