Anna M. Stamplecoskie's Potato Dumplingspotatoes, canadian 1 1/2 cup raw potatoes 1 cup flour 4 1/2 quart water 1 salt to taste 1 cream Grate potatoes finely. Squeeze dry in a clean cloth. Add flour and mix well with potatoes. Bring water to the boil and add salt. Make little balls of the flour/potato mix. Drop into the boiling water and boil for 16 minutes. At the last minute, add cream.
