Quicker Baked Potato

Try this method for speeding up the potato baking process (for a better texture than those that you microwave). Pre-heat the oven to 400. Place the potato in boiling water for 10 minutes. Bake for 30 minutes. This will cut the cooking time in half.

Mr. Food's Twice-baked Potatoes

vegetables, potatoes

6 medium sized potatoes
1/4 cup sour cream
3 tablespoon butter
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 paprika for sprinkling

======================================================= ============== ==== == Preheat the oven to 400 F. Scrub the potatoes then pierce the skins with a fork. Bake for 55 minutes, or until tender. Let cool slightly, then slice each potato lengthwise about 1 inch deep and scoop out the pulp; place the pulp in a medium sized bowl. Add the remaining ingredients except the paprika and beat with an electric beater. Spoon the mixture into the potato shells and lightly sprinkle the tops with paprika. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the potatoes begin to brown on top.
